GLOBE SCRIBE · LEGAL INFORMATION
Cookies and local storage
Version dated 24 September 2026
What is active
Google Analytics (audience measurement, ID G-0593C21LWT) loads only after your optional permission. No Analytics request is sent before your choice. After permission, Google receives pages viewed, browser and device information, and technical data including the IP address, which Google says it uses for approximate geolocation before removing it from Analytics logs. Google sets first-party cookies. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled by the site configuration. Event data retention depends on the Analytics property settings and must be checked by the publisher. Other advertising scripts remain disabled.

Your controls
Use “Cookies and local data” in the footer to change the Analytics choice. It remains stored locally until changed or browser storage is cleared. If withdrawn, no new Analytics request is made and accessible Analytics cookies on this domain are deleted. In the notebook you can export notes, remove a guide or erase all entries. Blocking storage may prevent saving the notebook but does not prevent browsing.
Your Analytics choice
The first-visit panel presents equally styled buttons to allow or reject Google Analytics. Your optional choice and its date are stored locally and can be changed in the footer. Advertising remains disabled. Before public launch, the publisher must check Analytics property settings, retention and any data sharing.
